W7

So the other day I got a parcel from my postman, I was super confused as I was sure I hadn't ordered anything, and I basically screamed when I opened it. I'm not used to getting things sent to me from companies, I've only had a few things sent and it still seems so bizarre to me that people choose me to let the public know what I think.

W7 ran a bloggers competition to review their new lipstick the other day, however I was at work so I missed it, I was not too happy! But when I emailed them they said they would send me a few bits to take a look at, I wasn't expecting all this!

I received the Prime Magic, Make Up & Glow Bronzing Base, Full Colour Lipstick in 'Tides', The Fixer and Nail Polish in '87 Pistachio'. I am so in love.

The primer is very matte, it is so different to the one I use at the moment and I wasn't sure I liked it at first, it just felt a bit odd. But it made my skin feel so so amazing and there was no shine which I love. I'm sure they read my mind as I was very close to running out of my primer and I was having a little panic whether to buy the same one again or try out a new one.

The Bronzing base is too dark for me as I am basically a ghost, however it works well for contouring!

The lipstick is crazily bright and took me a while to get used to, but it is such a nice colour. It feels like a lip balm, more like I'd used my baby lips rather than a lipstick, it just felt so smooth and not lipstick like - in a good way!

I love using a fixer after doing my make up, and the one I am using at the moment just doesn't seem to end, they last so so long. This one smells really good and it's something I use every day.

The nail varnish is such a beautiful colour, as I wear black quite a lot it really works well. As you know I am so so terrible at painting nails so please excuse the mess!
It did chip quite quickly but whatever nail varnish I use it chips really quick so I'm not sure how it would work on 'normal' nails, I must just do a lot of stuff that makes my nails chip! This was after one/two coats, some nails only needed one, they are slightly see-through however another coat would've sorted that.

Primark Haul!

As some of you may know, I was in Canterbury last week and while I was there the new Primark store opened, so I obviously had to take a little look! Me and some of the girls went down and it was basically hell on earth, so crazily busy to the point I couldn't move, so I grabbed a few bits I wanted then waited for 30 minutes in a queue and got my butt out of there! Here are a few of the things I bought, I also bought a plain black vest top, plain black bra and black pumps, all for work.

You all know I am trying so hard to wear more jewellery, but I'm just not a jewellery person! So I bought these earring to go in my many piercings, and then these 6 rings which I adore and have worn 4 of every day!

I love wearing my hair half up half down, and I just use a bobble at the moment, after my big black clip broke, but I love these tiny polka dot ones, they are just so so cute!

I already have some of these and they are just so useful, I wear my pumps basically all the time and when it is warm and I want to wear a casual dress and my pumps it means I don't have awkward ankle socks on, haha!

I've always been a huge fan of Primark underwear, and lets face it ladies, we do feel like we have our shit together when our underwear matches!

I bought these two pairs and the grey ones too, I just love them, they are super cute and have lace on, what more could you want?!

I'm not sure what happened to this picture but oh well, haha! I thought this top would look fab over a bikini on holiday or over a bandeau!

This dress grabbed my eye, it is a casual skater dress and the pattern is just lovely, and black and white is just so easy to wear with anything!

 This top is super comfy and just casual to wear with my jeans, and also the girl looks like Demi Lovato, haha!

My Photography

As some of you might know I did photography at AS level and as a BTEC, and I adored it. I was searching through old folders of old laptops etc and found some of my old images. I really miss taking photos and I feel like I've really let myself down because I was so passionate about it a few years ago and now the only pictures I take are of products for my blog, which is pretty pathetic. I am hoping to get back into photography I am just not sure how, I need to refresh my memory of all the things I learnt as well as just trying to find things to capture. I thought today I would share with you a few of my old pieces, these are all between one and five years old, which is crazy to think about because at the time I took my camera everywhere and took photo's of everything, and now I just use my phone if I see something I feel is picture worthy, which isn't very much anymore. I'm not sure why I'm sharing these, I just feel like I need that kick up the bum to get back into it and this is the best way to do it, so I hope you enjoy.

Hair Chalk Review

So if you haven't already seen my video of my trying out hair chalk, then here I am!
I recently purchased hair chalk from Amazon, I didn't want to spend a lot as I wasn't sure they would work on my hair colour as it is a medium brownish colour, so I bought some for around £2.50 and they worked so well!

My Awards Outfit

For the Company Style Blogger Awards I hadn't a clue what to wear. I didn't want to go too dressy but I obviously wanted to look nice! My dress was sent to me by FD Avenue, I chose the dress and they sent it to me which was totally crazy, and then from there I had to try to see what would work. I decided my leather jacket and little boots would 'rock' it up a bit and make it look more casual as I hadn't a clue what anyone else would be wearing and didn't want to look out of place.
