OOTD

So I found it so hard to pack for Dubai as it is quite strict, shoulders and knees have to be covered and with me being so petite, long items just make me look super short. But this was my OOTD yesterday, I thought I would share it with you.

My flowery head band is from new looks and my sunglasses from a stall at reading music festival.
My pink maxi dress is from new looks, as is my belt and my kimono is from Internationale. I also wore light pink shoes with gems on from primark.

I'm still not really enjoying wearing the long clothes as it makes me look so tiny, but I'm doing the best I can, haha!

I will update you as much as possible, follow me on twitter and Instagram if you want to keep updated daily! :)

Hello!

Hello all you lovely people, I am so sorry I've been away for a week! If you follow me on twitter then you will know I have had a crazy week at work (apparently people really like chocolate at Easter!) and I have been madly packing for Dubai. So I am now in Dubai and attempting to update you via my phone so I'm not 100% sure this will upload, so if you can see this, please let me know, all my links will be at the bottom of this post!

I will be updating you as much as I possibly can while on holiday, and there may even be a few videos. I do have a laptop I can use some times while here, as I decided to pack extra shoes instead of my laptop!

I'll leave a few pictures of my holiday so far below, I arrived about 16 hours ago!
I shall see you soon!

Topshop vs Boohoo vs New Look vs H&M

So I love all the stores, however as you know I like to save as much money as possible, so I look through different stores to find similar products for a cheaper price. I can completely understand people wanting to pay more for better quality but that isn't always the case, I think 90% of the time the quality of all four stores are pretty much the same, and I've had some items that are better quality from Boohoo than from Topshop. So I've put together 3 pictures of items that are similar to show you how much you can save shopping around!

I thought I would start with something simple, so I started with this plain black dress, all are slightly different, but nothing major. So in order of the pictures, these are : Black Mesh Back Skater Dres £22.99 from New Look, Duchess Satin Bow Back Prom Dress £75.00 from Topshop, Tina Textured Skater Dress £20.00 from Boohoo, Jersey Dress £7.99 from H&M. As you can see the prices are crazily different, the H&M and Topshop dresses aren't that different, execpt the material and the waist band, but is that really worth the extra £67.01?

I adore my tartan skort which I got for £15 from Ebay, however I couldn't find one on any other site, as searched around for other prices, mine is similar to these but red. I found these tartan skorts in both Topshop and Boohoo, they are slightly different, the Boohoo one comes in 4 colours however the Topshop one in only the one colour. On the left is the Topshop 'Check Wrap Skort' is £40 and on the right is the Boohoo 'Emilie Tartan Woven Skort' is £15. Again, the only real difference in these skirt is the colour, and the style is slightly different, however I prefer the shape of the Boohoo one!

Lastly standard plain blue jeans, for me, jeans have to be PERFECT. There is nothing worse than an uncomfy pair of jeans, however price is still important. I know these are all different types of jeans however these are the average price of jeans for the shop, so I thought that would be better to do blue jeans as a whole. Firstly we have the Topshop MOTO Overdye Blue Jamie Jeans for £40, next is H&M's Bootcut low jeans for £29.99, in the bottom left is New Look's Petite Pale Blue Denim Disco Jeans for £19.99 and lastly are the Dolly Lightwash Slim Jeans from Boohoo for £25.

So I hope you enjoyed this post, if there is anything you want but can't afford then give me a shout and I will see if I can find it anywhere cheaper for you!

Thank you for reading.

Peaches Geldof

As we were hit yesterday with the tragic news of Peaches Geldof's sudden death, leaving behind her two children, husband, father and three sisters, I thought we would take a little trip down memory lane to remember the Peaches that we all knew and loved. I'll write a little bit about her, in case you don't know her (have you been living under a rock?) and then I'll show you some pictures of fashion choices and family pictures that I love.

She was born on March 13th 1989 to Sir Bob Geldof and Paula Yates (Who died when peaches was 11 in 2000, tragically on Pixie's 10th birthday). She has two sisters from the same parents, Little Pixie and Fifi Trixibelle, and a younger half sister Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily. She had been married to Thomas Cohen since 2012 and they have two children together, Astala Dylan Willow Geldof-Cohen (born April 2012) and Phaedra Bloom Forever Geldof-Cohen (born April 2013.
She has always been known in the fashion world, both her and her sister Pixie are regularly spotted on the front row of catwalk events. She has wrote columns for magazines such as Elle and newspapers such as The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph. She was very opinionated and liked people to know what she though, anyone else see THAT video of her and Katie Hopkins? She was known for being 'young and edgy with lashings of style' and it seemed everyone either loved her or hated her.
I think she was one of the most down to earth celebrities, especially as most people who are famous because 'daddy is famous' are quick snobby, she didn't seem this way, and she always put her children first, which again, a lot of celebrities do not do.

So now, I think it is time for some fabulous photo's of some of her fashion choices and family moments that we will always remember.

And obviously I couldn't leave out a few 'golden oldie' pictures of Peaches when she was younger with the rest of the Clan.

Thank you for reading, and I hope Peaches is in a better place now, R.I.P.

How To Stop Puffy Eyes

So I know a lot of people with puffy eyes, whenever I cry my eyes swell up like bloody oranges, not very attractive! So I thought I would share a few 'at home' tips I have come across over the years, some may work for you, some may not, but these are the ones that work for me! Remember to drink lots of water, this isn't a 'quick fix' however it will prevent puffy eyes!

Find somewhere to relax for a while, as long as you want/have time for, and put either cucumber, cold tea bags (wet them and put them in the freezer for a few minutes to stop dripping) - normal, green tea or chamomile will all work, or generally anything cold on your eye lids, however I find tea bags and cucumbers work best. I used to have a little mask that was kept in the fridge which worked miracles, however it mysteriously disappeared (mother, sister, and ideas?) so try different things, you can even use cold spoons (pop them in the freezer for a few minutes).
Another great way to stop puffyness is to put raw potatoes on your eyelids, just peel and slice, however I don't like the lingering smell it leaves! Dip cotton pads into chilled  milk and place on the eye lids - however don't use too much as this could get messy. Also try giving the effected area a bit of a massage.

So these are all the ways that work for me, for near enough no price! What do you do when you have puffy eyes?

Thank you for reading!

My Day At The Beach!

So I realised I didn't post much about my week in Canterbury, which is unlike me, haha! If you don't already know, I live in the Midlands, like in the middle of the Midlands, so I am at least 3 hours from a beach any way I go, and I haven't been to the beach in, I can't even remember last time I was at the beach, a few years ago!
So it was a super warm day, especially for early march, So me and Dave went off to Whitstable beach -about half an hour from Dave's University campus. It was beautiful, it's a pebble beach which was nice as I had my pumps on, and sand in shoes is never good. We stopped at a little wooden hut near the beach for lunch, I had chips and Dave had a fish finger sandwich, then I had ice cream (proper whippy ice cream from a van!) the woman in the ice cream van even asked if I wanted a flake, REALLY, who doesn't want a flake?! Dave had a super boring lemonade ice lolly, which I ended up eating as well in the end "I have finished mine, can I have a bit of yours?"
After stuffing our faces (and be getting covered in strawberry sauce like the 5 year old I am) we went and carried on exploring the beach, we found a mini pier where they kept boats so we wondered down there and sat on the egde and dangled our feet over the (horrible brown-ish coloured) sea! The sky was basically completely clear and the sun was super warm, however it was so windy, as you can tell in most of my pictures as my hair is just all over the place.
I decided on a plain outfit for the day, I wore a plain black vest top and skate skirt with spotty tights and my pumps, then my over sized thin cardi. I also wore my Eagle necklace and my skull scarf, which ended up coming off as it was really warm. I didn't take my camera so all the pictures were taking on my iPhone, but the quality isn't too bad. I thought I would share a few pictures I took on the day with you, so here you go!

Dangling my feet over the sea, fearing for both my life, and the loss of my shoes!

I look like a super happy child with my ice cream!

Slightly windswept and attempting to smile while terrified I was going to fall off, haha!

Blue sky selfie!

Dave sat there for ages just watching the boats!

We attempted to get a picture with the sea but it was too bright.
We did manage to get ones with the sea but we both look slightly bizarre, apparently me, Dave and the sea couldn't all look good at the same time!

Looking super windswept but happy I was at the beach!

A few Panoramic I took of the beach.

And finally, leaving the best for last, me looking at this ice cream like it is the love of my life, and in all honesty, it was for the few minutes it took me to eat it. I can't even remember the last time I had a 'proper' whippy ice cream, especially at the beach.

So there is my day at the beach, I had such a lovely day. I know my outfit definitely does not shout 'Fashionista' but it was a relaxing day and I didn't really want to dress too nicely as I wanted to paddle in the sea - Dave wouldn't let me because "you'll just get wet and the complain that you are wet and cold and it will take about an hour to get home and you will just complain" DAD ALERT. But fair enough, he was probably right!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I don't tend to do 'What I did' posts as I never think anything is interesting enough for you guys to want a read about, but who doesn't want a see a girl with pink hair windswept and falling in love with ice cream at a beach?!

Crop Tops

Now Spring has finally begun we are seeing all the crop tops come out! Now don't get me wrong, I am a huge a fan of crop tops, and I have many myself. However it still isn't exactly warm in England, so wearing a crop top and hot pants, then shivering in the middle of town probably isn't the best of idea's. I think crop tops, if worn in a dignified manner can look amazing. I thought I would show you some crop tops I am loving at the moment and how I would wear them! As always I like to keep things pretty cheap so I won't be showing off anything major expensive! I have made three outfits, one from ASOS, one from Forever 21 and one from New Look

ASOS

I just love this outfit for when it coming into spring, the bright yellow high waist shorts that aren't showing any bum(!) are a lovely touch to the plain black off the shoulder cropped tee and I think paired with plain black sandals would just look perfect, I think the shorts are just enough so you don't need statement shoes.

90's Crop Top with Off the Shoulder Detail - £8
High Waist Linen Shorts - £18.00
Faculty Leather Flat Sandals - £25.00

Forever 21

I love this funky long sleeve tee for these days that aren't that warm, I think paired with a plain skater skirt and black pimsolls make for a perfect casual outfit.

Pucker Up Crop Top - £7.99
Classis Skater Skirt - £8.25
Classic Canvas Pimsolls - £6.00

New Look

I think this would be perfect for when the evenings start to get warmer, this outfit would work well paired with a black skirt and black heels, but as I am trying to move away from wearing as much black I thought I would try pairing it with white! I thought this flowy butterfly crop top was just so cute, and the perfect amount of print to pair with a plain outfit.

Parisian Coral Butterfly Print Bralet Top - £14.99
White Wavy Textured Pencil Skirt - £17.99
Nude Leather Block Heel Platform Sandals - £39.99

These are just a few outfits I have put together that I think would look so cute during spring as it starts to warm up, let me know what you think!
